Who
we are...
Belwood
is a 46-bed community-based residential facility (CBRF) licensed by the
State of Wisconsin under DHS 83. Our residential program meet nationally
recognized standards and is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation
Facilities) accredited. Our program model emphasizes an experience
of hope, safety, trust and opportunity for our consumers and strives to
provide a living environment which emphasizes consistency, structured
learning, and active participation in daily living skills. We also
strive to help each consumer achieve a high degree of commuity reintegration
and transition into the least restricitive living arrangement possible.

We
serve adult men and women with serious and persistent mental illnesses
and co-occurring disorders.
How
we serve...
We
expand horizons by helping consumers develop life's domains and offer
opportunities to integrate with society through living, learning, working
and participating.
We
create and sustain a living environment that emphasizes consistency, daily
repetition, structured learning, and active participation in daily living,
community integration and development of consumer's community support
systems.
We
also focus treatment upon psychiatric stabilization, socialization, emotional
development, functional performance, and leisure time activities.
Our
program is operated year-round with 24 hour coverage.
