Bluemound House is a 7-bed CBRF serving developmentally disabled co-ed adults with significant behavioral challenges. Structured residential care services are provided in a living environment that emphasizes consistency, daily repetition, structured learning, active participation in daily living skills, reduction of challenging behaviors, and positive role modeling. Residents are regularly exposed to a variety of experiences both within the group home and in the community. This model is transitional in nature and designed to alleviate the multiple challenges that preclude placement in a less structured, long-term care setting.
