Day One is a community-based, group-oriented
medical day treatment program that serves individuals with long-term
mental illness. Day One offers structured group activities
designed to maximize each person's ability to achieve/maintain
an optimum level of independent functioning.
Multi-disciplinary teams focus on the individual needs and
strengths of each person to provide programming that ranges
in intensity from full-time daily treatment to part-time care,
which
includes
half
days or evenings.
Day One coordinates and cooperates in a plan of care with other
community agencies to maintain the individual in the least restrictive
setting possible.
Referrals are welcome from mental health professionals, families,
