Sheridan House is a CBRF serving developmentally disabled co-ed
adults who have significant behavioral challenges. Structured
residential care services are provided in a living environment
that emphasizes consistency, daily repetition, structured learning,
active participation in daily living skills, reduction of challenging
behaviors, and positive role modeling. Residents are regularly
exposed to a variety of experiences both within the group home
and in the community. This model is transitional in nature and
designed to alleviate the multiple behavioral and life skills
challenges that preclude placement in a less structured, long-term
care setting.
