Who we serve

We provide group home services for children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and/or psychiatric disorders in Northern and Southern Jersey.

We also provide educational services for children at our approved Private Day School.

Our goal

We make a lifetime commitment to serve clients in these programs.

Referrals

 

Willowglen Academy accepts referrals from a variety of sources including the private sector, school districts, state and local agencies, etc. We offer clinical treatment programs and education services in a therapeutic setting by licensed and certified mental health clinicians and teachers. The intake process includes a review of pertinent documentation by our multidisciplinary intake committee and a personal interview with the prospective client.

Criteria

Willowglen Academy-NJ provides a 40 bed residential treatment facility and three group homes for children ages 10 - 18 who are emotionally disturbed. This program is located in Sussex County. Boys and girls from every area in New Jersey are served. Behaviors include disorders of mood or thought processes, difficulties of self-control and judgment, and disturbances in the ability to care for and relate to others. Potential clients must be classified as special education students by their school districts. Educational services are provided through our approved Private School for the Disabled.
