Willowglen Academy Adult Day Services is a community-based residential
care system providing for the care, treatment and education or
rehabilitation of individuals above the age of 18 years.
Residents receiving services have been diagnosed with a mental
illness or developmental disability, along with a cognitive impairment,
which inhibits the ability to living independently. Program
services emphasize a structured, home-like environment, with
supportive
living opportunities, life skills training and behavioral management
support to encourage movement toward functional independence,
to the greatest degree possible.
The Willowglen Academy-North site provides residential programming
for adults at its site in Sheboygan.
Clients typically served have long-stranding mental health
and
developmental issues that impair their ability to live in less
restrictive type settings. Willowglen Academy - Wisconsin offers
a highly structured, home-like setting to accommodate the various
needs and individual differences of each client.
