Willowglen
Community Care Center provides care coordination services for
children and families through Wraparound Milwaukee. Willowglen
Community Care serves as the facilitation link for providing
community-based mental health services for children identified
as seriously emotionally
disturbed and for their families.
Each Care Coordinator strives
to meet the treatment needs of children by coordinating service
providers such as in-home therapists; art, play, recreation, and
music therapists; parent assistants; crisis stabilization mentors;
tutors; AODA counselors; probation officers; and workers from
the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare. Through their efforts
Care Coordinators are able to keep children and families united
within the home and the community instead of placement in restrictive
care settings. |
