History

Since 1972, Willowglen Academy has provided comprehensive community-based alternatives of care and special education for children, adolescents, and adults who have behavioral, learning, and life skills problems which have not been successfully addressed by conventional forms of treatment. Willowglen Academy is dedicated to improving their lives and relationships with their family and community through individually designed programs emphasizing creativity, persistence, tolerance, and commitment. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients by offering them opportunity to live, grow, learn, and participate in society to the fullest extent.

A strong advocate for children and families, Ms. Daley has participated in specialized training in such areas as adult children of alcoholics, victims and sexually reactive behaviors of children, nurturing programs for children and families, cultural diversity, team development, solution focused therapy, and structural family therapy.

Ms. Daley served as part of the development team for Willowglen Academy-Illinois, and initiated and is currently working on the development of a new Willowglen project in another state.  She has facilitated systemic change at all levels of the organization throughout the years.
