Residential Treatment for Children and Youth

Who we serve...

We serve male and female children and adolescents from from 12 years to 17 years with significant mental health issues and/or developmental delays.  These consumers often experience  emotional disturbances, mental illness and have borderline intellectual functioning levels.

How we serve...

We developed unique capabilities to provide a full range of services in this eight-bed, community-based living unit in the Milwaukee area.  These living arrangements allow for intensive residential care service in a community atmosphere.

We provide highly individualized treatment plans to meet the specail needs of the various clients referred to us.  Our structures setting ensures the safety and success of all, while striving to accommodate individual differences and needs to the fullest extent possible.  Our program also provides short-term (7 day maximum) respite services to clients in the surrounding communities with identified needs similar to Willowglen Academy-Wisonsin's residential clients.

As partners in treatment with the family, the individual and other professionals, Willowglen Academy-Wisconsin offers a full range of individual therapeutic interventions to assist in the development of independent life skills, socio-emotional skill building, medical and psychiatric care, and community networking skills.

Licensed & Accredited Community-Based Residential Facility for Adults

Who we serve...

We serve male and female adults over the age of 18 years who have been diagnosed with mental illness or developmental disabilities that may be long-standing along with cognitive impairment that inhibits their ability to live independently in less restrictive type settings.

How we serve...

We offer a highly structured, home-like setting to accommodate the various needs and individual differences of each client with a systematic model of care, treatment and education or rehabilitation.  We emphasize this type of environment by providing supportive living opportunities, life skills training and behavioral management support in order to encourage movement toward functional independence to the greatest degree possible.
