Community-Based Residential Facility
for Adults
The Willowglen Academy-North site provides residential programming
for adults at its site in Sheboygan.
Clients typically served have long-standing mental health and
developmental issues that impair their ability to live in less
restrictive type settings. Willowglen Academy - Wisconsin offers
a highly structured, home-like setting to accommodate the various
needs and individual differences of each client.
Group Foster Care
A new addition to Willowglen Academy-Wisconsin's continuum of
care is a six-bed group foster home. This home serves adolescents,
ages 13-17. Similar to Willowglen Academy-Wisconsin's residential
treatment center, the target population is clients with mental
and/or developmental disabilities. The difference at this location
is the expectation that the client is more capable of managing
emotional outbursts and daily living skills. In addition, clients
living in this home receive educational services in the public
school setting versus receiving educational services within the
program.
